The resin sand reclamation line

The resin sand reclamation line is core complete equipment for foundry industry. It performs a full automatic processing of used resin sand: shakeout, crushing, magnetic separation, air separation, sand reclamation, temperature adjustment, sand storage and sand mixing. Reclaimed sand can be recycled continuously, greatly cutting cost of fresh sand purchase and reducing solid waste discharge to realize green casting. Adopting modular structure, the whole line features flexible layout and high automation. It is widely adopted in resin sand foundry workshops for engineering machinery, valves, auto spare parts and machine tool castings.

Core Components & Technological Process

1. Shakeout: Separate castings from used sand by flask shaker.

2. Conveying & Magnetic Separation: Vibrating conveyor transports sand; suspension magnetic separator removes iron scraps and metal impurities.

3. Crushing: Crusher breaks agglomerated sand lumps.

4. Air Separation: Wind separator removes dust and residual coating film.

5. Sand Reclamation: Reclaimer rubs and strips residual resin film on sand grain surface.

6. Sand Temperature Control: Sand temperature regulator stabilizes sand temperature for consistent mixing performance.

7. Sand Storage: Intermediate sand bin & double sand bin store and buffer reclaimed sand.

8. Automatic Sand Mixing: Reclaimed sand is delivered to sand mixer, mixed with resin and curing agent for molding sand.

9. Molding & Compaction: Prepared molding sand is transported to vibration table for casting molding.
