Resin Sand Casting (also known as resin-bonded sand casting) is an advanced sand casting process that uses resin as a binder to bond silica sand or other refractory sands, forming high-strength, high-permeability sand molds and cores. Our Resin Sand Casting Equipment integrates mixing, molding, core making, pouring, shakeout, and sand reclamation into a complete production line, realizing efficient and standardized casting production. The equipment is compatible with two mainstream processes: self-hardening resin sand (the most widely used, hardening at room temperature without heating) and hot-hardening resin sand (suitable for complex cores, requiring heating to 120~180℃ for hardening). It is suitable for casting gray iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, and other materials, capable of producing both small-batch precision parts and large-scale heavy castings.

Core Components & Working Flow

Resin Sand Mixer:Mixes silica sand, resin, curing agent and other materials in precise proportions to form moldable resin sand with good fluidity and adhesion.

Molding Machine:Uses the mixed resin sand to shape molds according to the product's 3D model, ensuring mold accuracy and surface finish through mechanical compaction or vibration.

Core Making Equipment:Produces complex internal cores (e.g., for engine cylinders) that match the mold, using cold-box or hot-box processes to accelerate resin curing.

Pouring System:Transports molten metal (steel, iron, aluminum alloy, etc.) into the assembled mold-core combination, with temperature control and flow regulation functions to avoid casting defects.

Sand Regeneration Unit:Recovers and treats used sand by removing resin residues, cooling and screening, realizing over 90% sand reuse to reduce costs and environmental impact.

Waste Treatment Module:Collects and processes waste gas, dust and wastewater generated during production, complying with environmental protection standards.
