QGW-Series steel pipe external wall shot blasting machine is a special through-type surface pretreatment equipment for steel pipe outer surface cleaningnanchenmac.... Adopting V-skew roller conveying structure, the steel pipe rotates 360° while moving forward continuously through the blast chamber. High-speed steel shot ejected by blast wheels impacts the pipe outer surface to thoroughly remove rust, mill scale, welding slag and other contaminants.
After blasting, the pipe surface can reach Sa2.0-Sa2.5 cleanliness grade complying with ISO 8501-1 standard, forming proper surface roughness, greatly improving adhesion of anti-corrosion coating such as 3PE, FBE and bitumen paint. It is the ideal pretreatment equipment for steel pipe anti-corrosion production line.
The whole set consists of blast chamber, high-efficiency blast wheels, bucket elevator, full-curtain air separator, pulse cartridge dust collector, skew roller conveyor and PLC & touch-screen control system. Abrasive media is recycled and purified automatically, with high separation efficiency and low abrasive consumption. Multi-layer sealing rubber curtains reduce shot leakage. Wear-resistant protective liners are equipped inside blast chamber for long service life.

What is a shot blast machine?

What material is used for shot blasting?
