The Q37 series hook type shot blasting machine

The Q37 series hook type shot blasting machine is designed for surface cleaning and strengthening of small castings, forgings, and fabricated metal parts. It is widely used in foundries, building material production, chemical equipment manufacturing, motor production, and machine tool manufacturing industries.

The machine is particularly effective for removing residual sand, sand cores, and oxide scale from castings and forgings. It is also suitable for surface cleaning and strengthening of heat-treated parts, especially for thin-walled or delicate components that are not suitable for high-impact blasting processes.

Spinner Double Hanger Configuration

The Q37 series offers a spinner double hanger configuration for improved productivity. Larger workpieces can be suspended individually on hanger hooks, while smaller workpieces are placed on special tooling before being loaded onto the hooks.

After loading, the hanger hooks are driven into the blasting chamber along overhead T-rail or Y-rail systems. Once inside, workpieces rotate continuously to receive steel shot impact from blast wheels mounted on one side of the chamber wall.

The opposite side of the chamber, known as the "hot area," is subjected to high-intensity abrasive flow and is therefore protected by durable manganese alloy liners to extend service life.

The blasting cycle typically lasts 3 to 5 minutes, after which the workpieces are conveyed out along the overhead rail system, ready for unloading and further processing.

Advantage:

1. The use of lifting hooks for rotary shot blasting and transportation not only meets the cleaning requirements of cast and welded parts, but also effectively cleans large, complex castings that are difficult to lift.

2. The adoption of a cantilever centrifugal shot blasting device with high shot blasting volume and high projection speed can significantly improve cleaning efficiency and achieve satisfactory cleaning quality.

3. The schematic diagram of the projection principle, the structure of the shot blasting chamber, and the general layout are all drawn using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), resulting in a more rational arrangement of the shot blasting equipment. This has improved the utilization rate of the projectiles, ensured the cleaning effect, and reduced wear on the protective plates of the chamber.

4. The lifting hook possesses the functions of ascending and descending, operating, and rotating within the chamber.

5. The adoption of the pit-free structure, which is highly favored by users, saves construction costs for the pit foundation.

6. The appearance of the machine is novel, and it is very convenient to use and maintain.
