Coated sand shell/core casting line

The steel shot-filled shell core making line (referred to as the shell line) is suitable for the production of sand by the shell type process (ie, using coated sand), and the iron type or dry sand is used as the filling material to support the sand type to complete the casting production. Mainly used to produce high quality castings. The sand type produced by the shell process has the advantages of high strength, good gas permeability and good collapsibility. The castings produced have high geometric precision and dimensional accuracy, which can significantly reduce casting defects of castings, improve the intrinsic quality of castings, and reduce The scrap rate of castings.

Shell line equipment

The shell line is mainly composed of a step-type casting cooling line unit, a falling sand and a sand-blast separation unit, a steel pellet cooling, a dust removal unit and a shell-type line control system.

(1) Step-type pouring cooling line unit

It is mainly composed of iron filling machine, vibrating table, shell conveyor and open conveying line.
